This Online Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) outlines Netrouting policies and procedures for handling Customer information. This Privacy Policy has been created with the understanding that Internet technologies are still evolving and that Internet business methods continue to change to meet the needs and opportunities of the changing technologies. As a result, this Privacy Policy is subject to change as determined advisable or necessary by us.

Netrouting understands the importance and responsibility that comes with protecting personal data. We are committed to complying with data protection laws applicable to the business, including the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

 

Customer Information

In the course of serving our Customers, we may acquire, store and transmit communications and information that Customers might regard as private or sensitive. Some of this information – such as Customer name, address, credit card information, etc. – is provided to us by Customers in order to obtain Services. Other information – such as Customer’s account status, choice of Services, Customer logs, etc. – is created and maintained by us in the normal course of business.


We also may use cookies, which are small pieces of information that a website can store in a designated file on a user’s computer for various reasons. Furthermore, we may store Customer’s emails and other electronic communications as necessary for the transmission and delivery of those communications.

Data Security

We shall protect the confidentiality of Customer information, account information and personal communications to the fullest extent possible in a manner consistent with the law and the legitimate interests of Netrouting, its employees and other Customers using our Services and/or the Company Network. To protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information collected, we have established appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures.

 

Use of Customer Information

We may use Customer information to provide our Customers with system information or information about new or upgraded products. Also we may share Customer information with selected partners. For example, to provide Customers with information about products that may be of interest to them or to enable Customers to take advantage of special partner programs.

Additionally, we may share our website usage information about visitors to Netrouting website with third party advertising companies for the purpose of targeting our Internet banner advertisements on Netrouting website through use of pixel tags. The information collected by our selected partners through use of these pixel tags is not personally identifiable.

 

Opt Out

Customers may opt out of receiving notices of new or upgraded products from us or our selected partners by emailing optout@netrouting.com. However, Customers may not opt out of receiving information from us that is essential for maintaining or updating Customers’ accounts or system information.

 

Modifications

Customers may access and modify their personal information by contacting our administration department by emailing billing@netrouting.com.

 

Disclosure of Customer Information

We shall not disclose Customers’ personal and account information unless we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of Netrouting, its Customers or others. We shall disclose such Customers’ personal and account information if it is our good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure.

 

Disclosure of Communication

We shall not disclose to third parties (which does not includes any affiliates of Netrouting and our officers and employees) the content of any email or other electronic communication that we store or transmit for our Customers, except when it is necessary or required to:


Provide Service to a Customer
Protect the legitimate interests of Netrouting and its Customers Cooperate with interception orders, warrants or other legal process that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be valid and enforceable or Provide to a law enforcement agency where the contents are inadvertently obtained by us and appear to pertain to the commission of a crime.


We disclaim any intention to censor, edit or engage in ongoing review or surveillance of communications stored or transmitted through the Company Network by Customers and others. However, we shall review, delete or block access to communications that may harm Netrouting, its Customers or third parties based on any Acceptable Use Policy applicable to Customer.
